Care Nest was founded in 2010 to provide a loving environment for orphaned children. We empower them through education, healthcare, and emotional support. Our mission is to bridge the resource gap and ensure every child receives the care they deserve.

ounded on August 19, 2022, and voluntarily registered with the Government of Sri Lanka, Care Lanka Foundation continues to serve communities across the Upcountry and Northern Province. From school students to elders, we are committed to providing impactful community based services.
We proudly focus on initiatives in education, healthcare, selfemployment, support for individuals with special needs, and women-led families, striving to uplift lives and empower communities.

A Message from the Founder
From childhood, my parents taught me the power of kindness and standing with those in need. These values have shaped my life and inspired me to dedicate myself to helping the most vulnerable in our society.
During Sri Lanka’s most challenging times, I saw families struggling without access to basic necessities—living with pain, fear, and uncertainty. It was then I knew I had to turn compassion into action.
On August 19, 2022, I founded Care Lanka Foundation, starting with a small idea but a big heart. We focused first on tea plantation communities, where many face hardship and limited support. Thanks to the encouragement of Elephant Aid Helping Humans, we expanded our reach to serve communities in Jaffna, Mannar, and beyond.
In just three years, we have completed over 300 community projects—providing essential resources, promoting health and education, and empowering families to build sustainable, hopeful futures. We especially focus on uplifting those with diverse abilities and unique needs, ensuring everyone can live with dignity and opportunity.
Care Lanka Foundation is more than charity—it is a commitment to nurturing stronger, healthier, and more self-reliant communities. Together with your support, we will continue bringing hope and positive change to thousands of lives.
